Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Linda is Italian via her father's grandfather. She is Irish by her mom, German, English, Scottish, and German. Linda grew in San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out of four siblings. When she was 10, she became interested in acting after she sang during a Christmas production at school. In addition, she continued to perform in school plays as well as the community theater. Linda went to Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Following her graduation, she was faced with a decision. Should she move into New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to study film and television? She went to LA. Linda was cast first as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). The role she landed her first big break in Freaks and Geeks (1998). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning series.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as her stage name Lily James, is an English actress. She studied acting in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and made her debut on the British TV show Just William (2010). Cinderella was her first big role after her stint playing the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James then played The Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. James has appeared in numerous films such as Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! And Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 Her character was nominated to win the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
